Join us today, Saturday January 4th at 11am for the second edition of

“It’s a Chili Day to Fly!”

Bring along some of your best chili and share it along with any stories/family traditions that come with it.

Food will be ready to serve at 1130 and there’ll be an informal judging and a prize for the top performer voted on by the attendees.

Following the food we’ll hold a very brief chapter business session, updating members on the new board plans and activities for the new year. We’ll have an ‘open floor’ session for members to share their views, needs and ambitions for the chapter, before wrapping up no later than 2pm.

Please join us for a fun, relaxed and a great way to grab lunch on a Saturday, while checking in on your chapter.

Visit to Udvar-Hazy – Feb 15th

Visit to the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum Udvar- Hazy

EAA240 members will join with the Aero Club of Pennsylvania and the Philadelphia Glider Council for a luxury bus ride to the museum. We depart for the I-95 DE Travel Plaza at 9:45am Saturday February 15th, returning at approx 7:30pm. There is an alternative pick-up point at the Montgomery Mall PA – see below.

Cost is $33, reservations are required and should be made with Phil Klauder at phil.klauder@verizon.net

This is a great opportunity to visit this unique museum in comfort and without the hassle of driving. We can arrange car-pooling from the EAA240 hangar to the DE Travel Plaza, and back. More information nearer the date. The museum web site is here.
