Chapter members gathered at the hangar Monday evening for our first Membership ‘Meeting’ for some considerable time. It was great to see and meet again with fellow members, some new members, some guests, and a Chapter Scholarship awardee. No seating, no presentations…..just hangar flying and a chance to remake acquaintances and to catch-up on all aspects of aviation and a host of other topics. It was a fun evening!
Engagement and feedback was very positive, with encouragement to hold more such events, to keep the Chapter moving forward. Your Board and the Events Team will plan to do so, adopting appropriate safety protocols as necessary.
Watch your emails and the web site for more Chapter events in the coming weeks.
Thanks to all who attended (35+), and to those that helped plan, execute and the clean-up. Appreciated!
Mike Parry
President, EAA Chapter 240
