Coffee & Cake at the Hangar

The Secret Service have flying locked-down for the weekend as the President is home, but the EAA240 Chapter Hangar is open.

Drop-in between 10 and noon this Saturday (Oct 23rd) for a catch-up conversation, hangar flying, checking-in on the aircraft build projects in our hangar and more.

We’ll have coffee & cake – nothing fancy, but it will be good to gather, if briefly. I hope to see you there.

Membership Meeting CANCELLED

I have opted to cancel our October Membership Meeting as one of the Chapter Officers has this afternoon been diagnosed with COVID. It would be unwise to assemble the membership at this time, under these circumstances. The hangar remains open and available, and our colleague is doing well, showing just light flu-like symptoms at present.

We’ll keep the membership advised of upcoming events and will hopefully see the pandemic behind us in the not too distant future. After such a time gap, getting the Membership together continues to be a high-priority near-term goal for me, and we will continue to look for the right opportunities to do so.
