Chapter Fly-Out – Invitation
With the changing weather conditions, it looks like Saturday, May 3rd is the better day for this fly-out.
We’re going back to a favorite destination – Delaware Coastal Airport in Georgetown, DE. About 45 minutes south of New Garden, the airport is home to the Delaware Aviation Museum (owners of B-25 Panchito, a regular presence in the airshow circuit) and Arena’s at the Airport, a popular lunch destination. The plan is to have lunch, followed by a visit to the museum, before heading back to New Garden.
We’ll meet at the chapter hangar Saturday at 9:30am for flight briefing and seat assignments, with a scheduled departure time of 10am. We will continue to monitor the weather conditions in case the forecast changes again.
Please let the Flight Leader know if you’ll be piloting a plane (open seats and max weight please), or coming along as a passenger (weight estimate please). Everyone, please include your phone number and watch your email for last minute notifications since weather looks a bit iffy and the departure time might change.
