Hello EAAers! Who wants to go tour a sister EAA chapter? Well you’re in luck, because EAA Chapter 524 in Frederick, MD has invited us over this weekend to come tour their facility and have lunch at Airways Inn. Destination is FDK, 78 nautical miles from New Garden, or just under an hour and a half flight.

Please note the time change: The plan for now would be to meet at our chapter hangar Saturday at 10AM and we’ll shoot for a departure at 10:30. We’ll get to park in front of EAA 524’s hangar and tour their facility, followed by a nice lunch down the flight line at Airways Inn.

Please note that weather is changing and we’ll need to keep an eye on it! Please be prepared for a departure as early as 8:30/9AM, if necessary, and even a switch to Sunday. We’ll try to stick with the plan as much as possible, but be sure to check eaa240.org for updates or a cancellation message.
