As a reminder the Riveting Workshop is intended to introduce, describe and demonstrate the basic and different riveting methods employed when assembling an airframe. Preparation, measuring, marking, recommended tools, testing and assembly will be covered and demonstrated. Members will have an opportunity to rivet using test panels.
Tom Kenney leads the class, sharing his expertise he gained and used in the assembly of his RV airframe.
The class begins at 8:30 Saturday October 21st at the Chapter Hangar and runs through to noon. If there’s interest we can organize pizza lunch following the Workshop.
Chapter members have been notified that they have been successful in securing a place in the Workshop. There are a few open places remaining, email us here: events@eaa240.org to secure a place, or to get more information.
Have fun and enjoy the Workshop!
