Chapter Fly-Out – Invitation
Time to try out a new (to us) place!
Join us Sunday, June 4th, for a fly-out to Bay Bridge airport (W29), followed by a short walk to the marina, to try out the new arrival in that location, Libbey’s Coastal Kitchen. We’ve been there before when the restaurant was called Hemmingway’s, but it will be our first trip there since the new restaurant has opened. There’s a new menu with plenty of sea and land-based items to choose for, while enjoying the amazing views of the bay.
Bay Bridge airport is a short 40-minute flight away, following the shoreline of the Chesapeake Bay. Always a sightseeing favorite! Meet up at the hangar no later than 10:30 for the flight briefing, departure will be at 11:00.
Looking forward to seeing you again!
You can register for the Fly-Out here. Please include your contact information so we can reach you if needed.
As the date approaches, any event updates are provided by the Flight Leader and sent in emails, posted to our web site, as well as Facebook and Twitter. Please check for updates or changes.
Planes & pilots are needed! Please advise on open seats when registering.
The Chapter Events Team works hard to prepare, organize and execute on Fly-Outs. Your support and engagement is appreciated.

Sadly, weather conditions on Saturday morning are forecast to be challenging for the flying of Young Eagles. We always want to provide a really positive and safe experience for our Young Eagles. Reviewing the weather we have opted to cancel our flights for this Saturday.
Future flights will be organized and listed at our web site: www.eaa240.org.
Instead, visit the airport and our Chapter and enjoy a delicious Breakfast with us! We serve our increasingly famous Pancake Breakfast from 8am to around noon, and would be happy to see you!
For further information regarding Young Eagle future flights contact us at youngeagles@eaa240.org.
As always, updates and additional activities will be posted at the Events Calendar at the Chapter web site.
