Plane Builders Forum – Nov 19th

Plane Builders Forum – Access to Chapter members plane-building expertise and experience

You’ve considered building or restoring a plane but have so many questions, concerns and/or challenges that you’ve not taken the first step? Do you wish you could have a conversation with someone who has built a plane, or is in the process of building/restoring a plane? Do you wish you knew somebody who would share their experiences – good and bad – in plane building?

We assembled several of the experienced Chapter member plane builders/restorers for you. Come meet with them and get your questions answered. No presentations, no teaching – just conversations with members who’ve done it (some several times!), or are in the process of doing it, and could give you the encouragement you need to get going on your own project.

Available to you on Saturday, November 19th from 9am to 12:30pm will be EAA240 Chapter members:

Glenn Allen (Piper PA-12)
Tom Kenney (RV10)
Chuck Shipman (Starduster, with Rotec radial engine)
Matt Chapman (Piper J3 Cub, Cessna 140, Pitts S1-S, Christen Eagle, Laser Monoplane)
John Leslie (Pitts S1C, Whiteman Tailwind, ZenAir 701, Piper J3 Cub)
John Smoyer (Just Escapade, Pietenpol Air Camper)
Don Eisle (RV14)
Matt Sloyer (RV4)
Tom Callahan (Chapter Tech Counsellor and Flight Advisor)

In addition, our friends from the FAA will be available to discus ‘How to Survive the Experimental Aircraft Certification review’. A great opportunity to get your questions and concerns addressed on that topic. Further, we hope to have a DAR present to answer your questions.

And, all done over coffee and donuts!

Don’t miss this one-time opportunity. Join us, Saturday November 19th, 9am to 1230pm
