Forecast weather conditions force the cancellation of the planned Work Party at the Chapter Hangar tomorrow, Saturday February 20th.
Please volunteer and sign up here for our next Work Party, on Saturday February 27th when we’ll start the painting of the bathrooms and kitchen area. Lots to do!
Our next Chapter Membership Meeting will be on Monday March 1st at 7pm, via Zoom.
Join us for an interesting presentation as our guest speaker will be Mark Kettering, the owner of AeroMomentum engines based in Stuart, FL.
Mark will be presenting his line of experimental aircraft engines (ranging from 75 to 260 hp) and share some of his development thoughts and why he chose that particular engine series to adapt for aircraft use.

| We’re all planning and very much looking forward to a restart of Chapter activities sometime in 2021. With that in mind we have some preparation work to complete in areas of our Chapter facility. Over the weekends ahead a small group of volunteers will help clean, paint, lay new floor tiling, replace ceiling tiles and more in the main areas of the hanger; workshop, kitchen, bathrooms and Meeting Room. We’ll serve a volunteer pizza lunch too! With four Chapter volunteers, we started last Saturday (13th), when we prepared the bathrooms, shower and kitchen areas for painting. This coming Saturday (20th) we’ll complete the wall prep and get the painting underway. We’re hoping to have FOUR VOLUNTEERS sign-up for a 9am to 1pm team effort, by clicking here. Current COVID protocols limit the numbers and proximity of people we can safely engage in the work, so we will closely manage the efforts and limit the number of volunteers involved.
