Breakfast in Reedsville PA

Calling all Chapter 240 members: mark your calendars for this Saturday, October 12th as we have a Chapter fly-out to Reedsville (Mifflin County Airport – KRVL) for one of the best pancake breakfasts in a 100 mile radius from N57, hosted by EAA Chapter 518.

Reedsville is a EAA240 fly-out breakfast favorite with fresh made to order omelets, sausage, bacon, scrapple, potatoes, french toast (an all-time favorite!) and pancakes with all the trimmings. Easy on the wallet too at only $7 for an all you can eat breakfast feast!

Approximate 1 hour flight to the north-west, we will meet at the EAA240 hangar at 0730 on Saturday morning. Wheels up at 0800. The breakfast only runs until 1030 so don’t be late!

We need pilots, planes, and healthy appetites!

Please let Flight Leader Andy know via email (events@eaa240.org) if you’ll be piloting a plane (open seats and max weight please) or coming along as a passenger (weight estimate please).

Reedsville only serves breakfast on Saturday but we will consider an alternate destination for Sunday if Saturdays weather is unfavorable.

Let Andy know if you are available to fly Saturday, Sunday, or both days.

October Membership Meeting – Monday

Our next Chapter Membership Meeting is next Monday October 7th and will include the following agenda items:

~ Hangar Flying, coffee and comfort nibbles – from 6pm, Meeting commences – 7pm
~ Chapter Business agenda items, including preview of 2020 activities
~ Guest Speaker – EAA240 member Bob Huxter who will present his experiences using ForeFlight, including a demonstration
~ We’ll wrap around 9.15pm
