Calling all chapter members!
Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 2nd as we have a Chapter fly-out to Cape May, NJ (Cape May Airport – KWWD) for breakfast at The Flight Deck Diner followed by a tour of the NAS Wildwood Aviation Museum. Meet at the Chapter hangar 8:30, for wheels up at 9am.
After breakfast, be ready to step back in time! Jet aircraft (including a MIG-15), propeller aircraft, helicopters and much, much more are on display. Adult museum admission is $14. Veterans earn a $2 discount (bring ID). By the time you finish the tour, it may just be time for lunch!
A potential bonus – The Forgotten Warriors Vietnam Museum (open on Saturday; admission is a donation) on Essex Rd, is just behind the NASW Museum.
KWWD is a ~28 minute flight (approx. 60mi) to the south-east from N57. Meet at the EAA240 hanger at 8:30am, for wheels-up at 9am.
We need pilots, planes, and healthy appetites!
Please let the Flight Leader know via email (events@EAA240.org) if you’ll be piloting a plane (open seats and max weight please) or coming along as a passenger (weight estimate please).
Let him know if you are available to fly Saturday, Sunday, or both days…pilot or passenger.
