Loss of Member Paul Maute

Longtime Chapter member Paul Maute passed away this past week, at home with his family in New Jersey.

Paul was always ready to contribute to Chapter activities, joining the team rebuilding the PA-22 Tripacer, cooking and serving pancakes at our fund-raisers and regularly attending our monthly meetings, and lots more

Paul had health issues for some time, including problems with his sight. He was building a project plane, a Volksplane VP-1, at home in his garage. Unable to complete the project, he sold the partly-completed plane on Monday, and passed away Thursday.
