| Chapter Get-Together! At last! Chapter Members Together Again Ice cream, cold sodas and the opportunity to actually gather together again for the first time in over 14 months brought 40+ members to our recently refurbished Chapter hangar, for our June Membership Meeting. The warm evening weather just could not have been better and it was good to see the camaraderie and hangar-flying that immediately restarted as members greeted each other in-person after a long, long time. We even welcomed some old and dear friends back amongst us. Many comments and congratulations were offered for the repainting and reflooring that had been completed in the kitchen and bathroom areas. We were also able to congratulate Tom & Mary on the recent certification of their beautiful RV10, that has been the center-piece of our hangar for some time. Before we wrapped for the evening we even helped move the RV into its permanent hangar, down the hill. All in all, It was a fun event, as you can see here…..click to play, sound on! The success of this event and feedback and encouragement we got during the evening prompts us to consider more events during July and August (we’re normally ‘off’ for those summer months). Watch your emails and the Chapter web site for details. We’ll also likely restart our Increasingly Famous Pancake Breakfasts, Young Eagle flights and our Membership Monthly Meetings in September.
