Cherry Ridge Riders!

EAA240 flew north from N57 past Mt Pocono over giant quarries and frozen lakes to our eggs and coffee on Saturday’s crisp clear morning! It was a smooth 51 minute flight where we looked over Camelback and Blue Mountain ski resorts and watched as a train snaked up Allentown’s River Drive along the Lehigh River.

After wind-gusted landings we were greeted warmly at Cherry Ridge N30 by local EAA Chapter 283 President, Jim Eastbrook and chapter members.
The Cherry Ridge Cafe’s blue checkered tablecloths supported our breakfasts and various hilarious conversations that continued back into our cockpits all the way back home again.
